Cossack girlThis portrait painting , done in acrylic, is the most recently completed painting of mine that is available. The subject is a little Cossack girl at a military parade. Much of the girl’s rural and cultural upbringing is evident in this painting. This painting once again emphasized high attention to detail, brush and colour technique as well as sharp attention to perspective, and light. There is both a contrast between the bright colours of the girl and the full colours of the men in uniform, as well as the usual contrast of light and dark. Enquier about this painting: |
